    Default bluetooth gps receiver
So is there any reason why I can't equip my iphone with a A2DP dongle, then pair it with a bluetooth gps receiver (like Garmin's Mobile 10, for example), and have a fully functional GPS right on my iphone?

Cause I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong here) Apple did not either enable or completely did not include the A2DP protocol with the iphone. It can only pair with headsets at the moment. Not A2DP ones..

Well, with a dongle to add A2DP, I successfully paired my iphone with the motorola stereo bluetooth headphones. It was a pain, it's true, but I'm not sure why the same scheme wouldn't work for a bluetooth GPS receiver.
