    Default They let me leave with a NON activated iphone
    I guess itunes is not working? So they made me pay and let me go with a non active phone for $199

    I believe if you don't activate it within a certain time they will backcharge your credit card the rest. Unless you paid cash, at which point...score.

    i have AT&T and i cant get my phone working. They couldnt either. i was 2nd in line and still no luck after waiting an hour

    have you been able to activate it at home yet

    i cant activate it.. it just says no service

    mine went from no service to working within 5 minutes. that was around 8:20 eastern time

    im unctivated . i restored the software cuz i thought maybe somethign was wrong with iphone . now im at the plug in usb mode cant get out of it and itunes store wont open.. all i have is a shiny black 16 gb touchscreen brick

    I mean if you really wanted to use it on another network just go cancel the contract and it will still cost you less than the iphone v1.

    Just a tad curious, do you guys know if they actually made you sign a contract before they let you got with a 3G iPhone for $199?
    I am aware of the server crash and that it pretty much made it impossible to get an iPhone activated for few hours. So what did AT&T ask of the people who purchased an iPhone 3G today? Did they ask people to go home and activate it themselves? In that case, did they make them sign any contract?

    yes I still had to sign a contract to walk out of the store with the phone

    i'm a ninja, so i just hopped down from the ceiling grabbed a couple of iphones, dropped a smoke bomb and disappeared really simple actually! you guys should try it some time lol
