Default Should I stay or should I go now?
    Hello,

    I have a unlocked 1.0.2
The SIM part was unlocked with anySIM by another person.
    It was also jailbreak.

I have been wanting to upgrade to version 1.1.1 but dont want to turn my phone into a brick.

In the beginning I did not think it was worth the chance to attempt to upgrade.

What say you who either have a version 1.0.2, or 1.1.1.
Is it worth it, and why?

    Thanks

Its worth it. Go to 1.1.2.

Here's the path to follow: virginize 1.0.2, upgrade to 1.1.1. Unlock. Then follow 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 upgrade Wiki.

Where do I find the 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 upgrade Wiki, tutorial?
    Here in the Info section?

    Thanks

    Try going to iunlock.no

They have a really good guide and an automatic revirginizer you can install via installer in it.

1.1.1 is worth it for things like the double-tap space bar for period, and other things.

No I did update to 1.1.1.
I was wondering about the upgrade to 1.1.2 from 1.1.1.
Is it really that much different or is it needed incase I go for the 1.1.3 someday?

    Thanks

One thing you'll notice going to 1.1.2 from earlier is the fluidity of the user interface. No jittery starts/movement, no hiccups in scrolling. All very smooth. Its worth it for that alone.

I started with a v1.0.2, unlocked and jailbreak.
Virginized it and upgraded to 1.1.1.

Now what do I need to do?

Where can I find the tutorial as to the next process to upgrade?

And is this the transition to 1.13 and or is that worth it?
Or better to wait until the next version?

    Thanks

Guides section. Short of it is, install OKtoPrep from installer.app and then UPDATE (not restore) to 1.1.2

1.1.3? I'm waiting. Too many glitches to fix afterwards for my liking.

    "Not Restore".
Is that also shift | upgrade like the restore?
    Thanks

Also as shared above I unlocked my phone (no****Sim) just a T-Mo Sim.
Do I have to unlock it again or does it stay unlocked.
I have read so many threads I am not sure which is which and what is what.
It think the 1.13 stays unlocked right?
Is that the same for 1.12?
If not would it be Anysim 1.2u that I need?
    Thanks

Nope, no shift. Just click the Update button in iTunes.

I think with AnySIM you have to unlock it again. But I'll leave someone to answer that actually used it (I used IPSF).

Try this guide. You will be unlocked and jailbroken at 1.1.2.

You are probably going to need to Shift | Update when you update to 1.1.2. Just hitting update in iTunes will automatically download 1.1.3 and update to that.

Well I upgraded to 1.1.2, and my phone is sluggish, not responsive at times and slower to download, and or refresh then before.
Is this common, are maybe only an issue with me?

I also noticed all my preferences remained which is ok BUT I had extended preference on before and now its not.
I guess I have to manually install it and change everything back to normal (if that is possible).

    What to do:
Should I go back to the beginning 1.0.2, and virginize?
Then upgrade back to 1.1.1, and to 1.1.2?

If so what is the best way to do so?
Do I restore (shift) to 1.0.2, re-viginize and upgrade as I did before?
Is there a method to go from 1.0.2 directly to 1.1.2 without 1.1.1?
I am on T-Mo so I have to be able to unlock as well, not sure if that is a factor in the upgrading process or not.

    Thanks

I would start over but at 1.1.1. Virginize, restore to 1.1.1 then follow the rest of the guide I linked. You shouldn't need to go to 1.0.2 at all...at least to get from 1.1.2 back to 1.1.2. That will save you some time there.

I haven't had any issues with 1.1.2 being sluggish or anything. If you installed "All Sources" from installer and it's taking forever to refresh, it's probably one (or more) of your sources not refreshing cause the lag.
