Default Returning non ATT iPhone HELP
My external speaker has stoped working. I can make and receive calls but cannot hear the phone ring or any other external sounds. Sound works through the headphones and bluetooth. I have tried restoring multiple times and still no luck.

Now I want to bring my iphone in to get a repair or replacement, but my phone shows that it has never been activated on apples warranty checker. I am going to use ziphone's refurbishing tool before I bring it in.

Should I purchase an att prepaid sim and activate the phone before I bring it in? Or should I just tell them that I had a friend activate it for me and I only use it as an iPod? I would like to get this phone fixed and not be placed on their backlisted list. What should I do? I am stuck with T-Mobile and will never go to ATT (other than buying a $10 prepaid sim if I have to).

i have an out of the box 3.9BL. I used bootneuter and set the Bootloader to 3.9 and everything to off to relock the phone. I then restored to 1.1.4 and now have no signal with a gophone att sim. If I unlock it the sim works. What can I do? I dont want to bring it to them unlocked because I heard they check with tmobile sims.

There is no where in the warranty agreement that says the phone must be activated to repair it. If they tell you that then ask them to show you :-) Then they'll back down and warranty the phone.
