Default God! I jus got a dead Pixel.
i am from Singapore and been using the iPhone for 2 months now. I just noticed that i got a dead pixel on my screen yesterday. After emo-ing for awhile, i did some google searches and the only possible solution is to replace it with Apple? However, iPhone will not be here officially till next year. I will be going to London for holidays for about a month. Is the ANY way at all that I can replace my iPhone there? Btw, I did not receive any warranty card from Apple in my iphone box. Just some warranty notices. Do they check my serial or IMEI to determine my warranty status?

You might want to try a pixel-unsticker, just in case it's a stuck pixel.

Hey man! Thanks for the replies! Where can I get the pixel unsticker for the iPhone? Tried http://www.ebaspace.com/iphone-app but it just made my phone hot. Also found out that dead pixels are quite common. But still feel deeply saddened. Thanks for your help again guys!

Well, http://www.ebaspace.com/iphone-app/repair.html is the unsticker. Usually you let it run for like half an hour. At worst, it's worth a try.

Upon further inspection, it appears dust is under the screen, and one more spec just appeared. May god have mercy on me.

Do you have your headphone jack exposed and getting dust in it? It seems to be a gateway for dust to get inside the iphone. Since there is nothing commercial available to plug it with, I used a remote control rubber button and cut it down to size. Of course, you would need an old remote control you don't need anymore, but it works and looks great.

Thanks for your replies guys. Yes my headphone jack is exposed. Anyway to remove the dust? Will be going to UK soon. Any shop dissembles the iPhone and can help me clear the dust? Thanks!
