Default Stolen iPhone, what to do?
Hey I got mugged for my iPhone last night and on my Birthday of all days, was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to track it down to get it back somehow? maybe thru iTunes I'm thinkin maybe if they ever hook it up to iTunes they can trace it?

Only thing really you can do is call up AT&T report it stolen so they can flag your IMEI #

Your Info is Registered with iTunes and AT&T I'd call the police and call Apple and AT&T for location info because AT&T can Triangulate the location.

Perhaps this may give you some insight of what you can do. Hope you get your phone back GL

AT&T wouldnt do crap for my stolen iphone, said they cant blacklist the serial number and T-Mobile said they cant do that because the phone is not supported on their network.

I brought mine to high school just ONE day, and some kid tried to beat me up for it, luckily im a brown belt in Judo and his attempt to steal and take it didn't go so well. Crazy people....

I can guarantee that both AT&T and Apple will do nothing to try and help you locate your phone. (based on previous experience) Sorry.

Glad you're OK though, things could have been much worse.

It seems that us Brits are miles ahead of the Yanks

IMEI numbers are routinely blacklisted when they are reported lost/stolen

Of course it takes a company to give a damn if they were to implement this

This true, and many are sold to buyers in the states where there is no lock...its a shame that the companies don't care about the customer.

It should be so easy to locate the phone, or even somehow brick it. Someone should create an app for this.

I would call ATT first then Apple, they may be able to do something. Could you tell us where you get by doing that? I want to know so if something like this would happen to me.
    Thanks,
    Matt
