I'm attaching some pics from 2.0 Beta 5, the latest beta of Apple's iPhone 2.0 Major Upgrade coming soon.

I've taken these pictures via XCode connected to my iPhone 2.0 & would answer your questions about 2.0 if you'll like.

4 KEY NEW SCREENSHOTS ATTACHED; MORE TO COME SOON.

    I've been coding all night & it's almost 6 A now & I need some sleep.

Please Reply with commens on any images I've attached & I'll explain.

    Well,I have a question.
    I purchased 99$ developer program,but I AM NOT AN AT&T LEGIT USER.
Can I somehow upgrade to the latest BETA,which I have on my desktop?

You can apply online at Apple's site. There's no sense in you downloading the IPSW file for 2.0 & just upgrading to it, please. Your phone won't have access to AT&T (or whatever) because it won't validate during the first stage when you turn it on; Apple's new Provisioning Process for Developers.

    A Securirty Certicicate is required.
    ---
If you've been accepted to the program, you should be able to login to the site & download just the iPhone OS Firmware.
Log into your Portal (link on right) for all provisioning directions.

nothing to special. app store is just an apple installer, calculator is nothing new. just 3g, and saving pics off internet.

So what exactly is it gonna do for me? A new calculator and app store? Anything else gonna change in this major update? I'm sure there will be ways of getting apps from the appstore for free anyway.

I would also expect major under-the-hood upgrades to the OS. Hopefully, all the features users have been clamoring for al well; such as sideways texting. Probably we be all around more stable, better battery life.

Buddy, I don't work for you. I aint selling you anything.
So don't come into a forum where others are interested in enhancements & say 'what is this gonna do for ME'.

no one had posted in this thread for 3 days for a reason.
if your gonna post a thread and call it, "What 2.0 Is Gonna Do For You [PICS]"

please provide more info than a screenshot of a new icon, a new calculator skin, ability to save an image, and exchange.

your thread title makes it seem like when you open it a person will know exactly what 2.0 has to offer and a changelog.

instead we get 4 screenshots and no information

edit: my bad, its early not trying to start a fight so ill leave your thread and just drop it. if others have questions about 2.0 then im sure youll be happy to answer their questions.

How's 2.0 for general stability? I find 1.1.4 can be flakey, especially Safari.

We can't really know that yet, until we really manage to glut it with 3rd party apps.
