Exclamation Is my iPhone going to brick?
Hello everyone, I'm new here and need some help. I recently did the 1.1.1 jailbreakme.com jailbreak. I hooked up my phone to ibrickr and it wouldn't read it as jailbroken and it had a button that said "free yourself from 1.1.1" or something like that. I clicked it and my iPhone started downgrading. I didn't want that so I quickly unplugged my iPhone while it was still in the process of downgrading and the screen turned neon green and it told me to hook it up to iTunes. I hooked it up to iTunes, did a factory restore, and it is working fine now. My question is, will the failed downgrade cause my iPhone to brick if I ever try to update?

If you jailbreak 1.1.1 again, make sure you dont use ibrickr because ibrickr is not compatable with 1.1.1. And everytime you plug it in there its going to try to downgrade you.If you need to get into your phone try using the opeSSH program. You can intall it through installer app on your phone. There are other ways, Im not too familiar with them because im running a jailbroken 1.0.2. Just look in these forums. You will eventually find a helping hand.

    Lies. Not true.
Let me research but I have done before (I forgot, lol) and ill edit this post!
    __________________________________________________ _______________
Download this Service.plist file first by clicking here.
    Open iPhoneBrowser (Download here)
Make sure you have MobileFinder.app on your iPhone. (can be installed via Installer.app or manually here)

Now, go to iPhone browser and under root make a folder named Documents and transfer the Services.plist file into this folder.

Now, go to your iPhone and open Finder. The file will be located in ~/Documents.
Press the "Up" Button all the way and then go to System/Library/Lockdown and you will see the original Services.plist. Rename it for back up and then go back to ~/Media/Documents highlight the Services.plist you downloaded and press "File" and then "Copy."
Go back to System/Library/Lockdown and press "Paste". Restart ur iPhone.
    Should work perfectly...
    make sure that you dont

make sure ur not pasting it in ~/Library/Lockdown cuz it wont work :]
    Hopefully I helped you!

Please tell me if it helped you, thanks :]

Hey everyone I'm new to this forum and only got my iPhone about a week ago. I really want to put a NES emulator on my iPhone because I want some games to play. I tried to use ibrickr but it wants me to downgrade to 1.0.2. I am 1.1.2 and the iPhone is unlocked to all uk networks. Would any body be able to publish a step by step guide for me...I dont want the process to relock my phone back to O2, and I didnt want to downgrade because I fort I might brick it... Can anyone help!!! I'm an iPhone noob
