Default Restore iPhone to Original Conditions
    Hi all,

This has probably been answered numerous times, but I've literally been searching for hours and I feel pretty stupid because I can't find the answer:

I've got 1.1.4 with ZiPhone on my phone right now. What do I need to do to remove the hack software from my iPhone and get it back to all the original, native software?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

    Wow. seriously?!

For some reason, I was under the impression that a normal restore to 1.1.4 would brick it. Not the case? Will it only brick if you're updating?

just wondering, in a previous discussion wasn't there something that had to be performed in regards to the bootloader? One of the guys here wanted to bring it back to the store and was told to grab bootneuter and reset the bootloader to something - no clue if it was 3.9 or 4.6...

but if its really that easy as to restore and bring it back then meh.... no need for me to write a tutorial

Restoring will remove all fw changes and restore the file system to stok but before you do this you need to find out if your bootloader was changed by ziphone. if your phone came with 1.1.2 out of the box then you probably had 4.6, before 1.1.2 it would have been 3.9.

Step one) use installer to download BBinfo and check bootloader, if its at 3.9 and it had 4.6 then go to step 2 (if its on 4.6 then just restorr)

Step two) use installer again and download bootneuter, use it to flash to 4.6, with neuter to off, Fakeblank to off and unlock to off.

After step two just restore in itunes.

    Hope this helps

Hmm Im not finding "BBinfo" anywhere in Installer.

I've got bootneuter but I can't check bootloader without BBinfo right?

actually im wrong, if you just use bootneuter it will determine your current settings and show them on the bootloader setting as highlighted, so no need for bbinfo.

Sorry my mistake just skip step one.
