This has happened to me. I have only had the phone a couple of days (bought off ebay)

    Am running 3.0 with Jailbreak/Unlock/Appsync - this on a 16GB iPhone 3G

Not sure why it happened, is it a common problem or more likely to be a one off.

Am restoring at present, a pain having to set it all up again though

    Try this:

    1. Have itunes running on computor.

    2. Have the cord pluged into the computor only.

    3. Grab your iphone press on the power button and home butten at the same time. Hold them both down till you get a black screen as soon as black screen comes on let go of the power button. keep holding down the home button.

    4. Now while holding down the home button plug the iphone in to the computor and keep holding down the home button. itunes will re sync and tell you your in DFU mode.

you will have to restore your iphone to factory setting but this will work fallow it to a t.

If it works dont forget to thanks me
