Default iPad 1 won't update or restore to 4.3.5
I'm not sure I'm on the right forum but I've been trying to either restore or update my iPad1 several times but at the very end of the restoration process the status bar gets stuck and won't complete the restore process.

Any idea how to overcome this problem?

Put your iPad in DFU mode and try again.

So, have you tried restoring from DFU mode?

Your not receiving any error messages? Hmm... I'm going to look into this for you.

All I can seem to find is this article on Apples website: iPad: Unable to update or restore

If nothing there helps you, try a DFU Restore:

-Hold the Sleep/Wake button for 3 seconds
-Then hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button simultaneously
-Then, release the Sleep/Wake button and continue holding the Home button until you get this message in iTunes: -ht4097_03-recovery_mode-001-en.png

Then just restore. I hope this helps you! Let me know if there are anymore complications.

So you finally came up with the answer I suggested? Well done.
