Thread: usb port?

  1. #1
    Default usb port?
I don't have an iPad (yet) - but as I understand it, it does not have a usb port (or mini usb port) as the Android based competitors do.

How does one get files into an iPad if you can't use a flash drive?

What do you mean? It has a 30-pin connector for syncing with a computer. As far as putting files on it, on the fly, there are ways, but you would have to have it jailbroken and also have a camera connection kit.
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream!

All iDevices use a USB port for adding / transferring / restoring / and more

Unlike most Android phones, iDevices do not have a Flash drive slot for adding external memory.

Are you looking for an actual USB port that you could charge a separate device with? The only
Android "competitors" I know of that have that are the really low end tablets you can find for bargain prices on Amazon.
