    Default Jailbreak scene questions...
So am I missing something here? They release a jailbreak for the beta, claim it's an old exploit that has been used. Would this not mean it would still be in the current firmware for the iPad? Are there some hardware complications? Anyone got any ideas on what's going on here? This is weird, they usually release this stuff with in a week or so of release. Haha. Just wondering if anyone one know anything I did not.

I can't wait to have that cydia icon sitting on my springboard!

They have said they are waiting for the iPad 3g release if anything.

In all sense. Couldn't they just release it as soon as people start getting emails saying there 3G shipped?

Seriously. 3g models are already passed production and packing stage. We need to jump start the iPad jailbreak scene now. It's not likely that Apple will release a firmware update in 8 days that will magically update all 3g iPads in transit.

They probably would like to actually test it on the 3G first. And since nobody has one yet they can't test it.

Exactly. Remember when they swapped iboots on the 3GS almost overnight? Don't want them getting ahead of us now!

what if they swap iboots anyways since we have already said we jailbroke the thing. Then all this wait was for nothing ><
When the police want to know where someone is, they ask apple.

Personally, I don't see much of a point in jailbreaking just yet. At this point, what does jailbreaking your iPad do for you? With the iPhone there are tons of mods, themes, apps, ect. The iPad has none of that... yet. I'm probably going to wait a few months before I jailbreak mine.

Most of the same old cydia apps should still work.

    Damn you stealth.

That's exactly the two I need. I hate exiting apps just to adjust the brightness.

Oh... I was not aware of that. Backgrounder is a big one for me, so maybe I'll jailbreak right away after all.

Jailbreaking is a must. Just because Winterboard doesn't support iPad right away, doesn't mean that you cannot theme it manually. I wouldn't mind being able to change the sliders and such. Not to mention, screwing with the Springboard.strings file . There are also several other things one can do through jailbreaking...
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream!
