    Default Mobile websites on ipad
Hey folks. Any way to stop websites from loading their mobile site when using the iPad? There are a few sites I like ; ) that don't have an option on the page for the regular version of the site but will only show mobile version which sucks. Any ideas???

You could contact the website designer and ask them to make the change. They should be able to format the website according to the device that is connecting to their website, from looking at the User-Agent Header. Now, that is as long as the User-Agent Header for the iPad is different from the iPhone. This way is an iPhone connects they can display the mobile website, and if an iPad connects they can display the full website.

If the website designer does make the change to identify iPads, then that helps all of us with iPads.
