    I changed in groovyboard uniaw settings. Use extra location from city to default. Now weather works. Even with breeze. But city name above the clock is not right. Its not so importand. The weatherwalls on the springboard is working now. I can live with that.

    Mmm, works fine for me, but try your UseExtraLocation set to neighborhood, it usually best for name accuracy. It should work with "city" (small "C"), do you want it to display "Björneborg" or "Kristinehamn"?

    BUT...

    Incase you can't get it showing your preferred city name (like me in my home area), then there is a small piece of code I put in the main.js file just for these occasions:
    Look for this:

    Code:
    // IF YAHOO GETS YOUR CITY NAME WRONG YOU CAN CORRECT IT HERE!
    if ((cityname == "Tawid") || (cityname == "Cabulihan") || (cityname == "Libagon")) {cityname = "Guadalupe";}
    //===========================================================

    Now change the city names to whatever you want, I'm guessing maybe this:

    Code:
    // IF YAHOO GETS YOUR CITY NAME WRONG YOU CAN CORRECT IT HERE!
    if ((cityname == "Kristinehamn") || (cityname == "Cabulihan") || (cityname == "Libagon")) {cityname = "Björneborg";}
    //===========================================================

    The above code says "if your city name = Kristinehamn or Cabulihan or Libagon, (you can change the second two if you like) then make my city name show Björneborg".

    You could even do this:

    Code:
    // IF YAHOO GETS YOUR CITY NAME WRONG YOU CAN CORRECT IT HERE!
    if ((cityname == "Kristinehamn") || (cityname == "Cabulihan") || (cityname == "Libagon")) {cityname = "I'm home baby!";}
    //===========================================================

    Ok. I will try that. Kristinehamn is a big city. Björneborg is small. Only 1200 people here. but its only 10 km away. Its the same weather. Maybe the weather apps dont care what the weather is in Björneborg because its so small. Ha ha. I will try neighborhood. Thanks for the help.

    If you mean it crashes when you tap on certain links then yes, it is a known issue. Workaround right now is to hold down on the link and open it in a new tab.

    My conclusion is that the with WKWebView having access to the Nitro JIT JavaScript engine, it probably uses more power to run so they stop the js execution (in only this "Nitro" engine) when phone sleeps.
    UIWebView doesn't have access to the Nitro engine so it doesn't get effected.
    UiWebView will eventually (but don't think it will be anytime soon) become obsolete.

    So if all LS tweaks get built-in "Insomnia" like code, then everybody will complain about battery usage because the Nitro engine must use more battery, it's a vicious circle.
    Hi Ian,

    I tried the groovy+ stuff a few days back, and I used insomnia to prevent the update lack. But I have to say that after I installed insomnia my Battery drains fast as hell . And my phone begins to be very buggy, since I deinstalled insomnia my phone goes back to normal. I hope the groovy+ stuff becomes an update anytime soon, cause since I upgraded my sbhtml/gl themes to groovy+ my resprings here and there, on my i6 are gone

    Hi guys.

    I tested some things with groovylock+ clock update.
    If we know insomnia does the thing but its draining your battery a little.

    I found another way to keep the clock running with groovylock +
    Its with ACTIVATOR.

    Just go to settings activator and do the following ....

    1 - choose on lockscreen
    2 - choose device locked (sleepbutton or timed out)
    3 - choose Wifi activate switch

    That way it keeps wifi on, while in sleepmode. (Same as insomnia)
    When you press the phone out off sleepmode (lockscreen) it will refresh the clock.

    Now testing if the battery less draining, but it does work also.
    Just sharing my findings.

    This is an Apple feature that saves battery. Not a GL+ issue.

    Wow, AMAZING, Platini! Nice find! Let's try to shoot holes in it.. And we may have a nice find! Though I hate how buggy Activator is in iOS 8..

    It works amazingly, Platini! But how does activating Wi-Fi when you put your phone to sleep with an Activator gesture keep the phone from going to sleep?

    My Wi-Fi is on almost all day every day and I was still losing my lockscreen widget and js timers in deep sleep before using the Insomnia tweak.

    I must be doing something wrong. My LS still freezes using activator method. Doesn't reload.

    It's just failed for me twice as well. It worked well for a couple of hours but then stopped working. I'm going back to Insomnia.

    Insomnia is way too buggy for me.
    I'll just deal with it.

    Nice idea though Plantini!

    Not the real solution true.

    I ask King something else in pm.
    If he can do that, then we can update the weather and the LS clock
    refresh with a press of a button.

    Working on...

    I have only 1 bug with Insomnia.. a few extra white screens in GB+.. Virtually no additional battery drain.. I can live with those two way more than I can live with the LS's failing to launch. Yuck!

    But the 6+ may react worse to insomnia.. Would be nice to get a fix or workaround that everybody could use.

    Yes, it does appear that the 6+ has more issues than the rest.
