All we can do is hope King or one of the other WW crew can find this workaround

Changing anything in the xml won't help because as soon as WW updates the xml again it will wipe any changes you made to it. To fix this issue on our end the main.js would have to be recoded to workaround this updatetimestring issue. I'm not sure fixing it on our end is the right way to do it though, may be something that has to be fixed on the tweak side by sddev and King. Really hard to pinpoint something like this though that affects so few people.

AS Simon said -- adding the word YES won't help. What should be in updatetimestring is a time designation. I'm surprised adding the word YES.. made the widget start working. Weird..

But, as King, said.. We've only seen about 5-6 cases around the globe where the updatetimestring is not generated by Yahoo and recorded in the xml file. Ian did write a workaround for it about 6 months ago.. You might want to ask him in the UniAW7 thread. I forget it too.

How would having IS2 installed cause any problems? I have WW2 and IS2 installed with no conflicts.

You misunderstand, maybe it's cause the widget is an IS2 widget? Marty should know, he's the one who made it.

This I know is nothing to do with WW2 missing the string.
I have somewhere the workaround that Ras did but I feel this is too complicated for the user who added "yes" in the xml. No offence intended.

You mind posting the workaround anyway? I wouldn't mind having that, just in case you know.

Non taken Ian when it comes to code it's best left to the ppl that understand it,I merely change few parts as required.

Maybe someone wouldn't mind adding the code to the file needed for the few users suffering,im willing to contribute for this.
