    What don't you understand?

Within many themes - usually the ones that control 'UI' - theme creators use info.plist file to control the font size of the Day of the week in the Calendar.app and other things like Badge stuff... To prevent them from running, change their name from info.plist to info1.plist and respring from within Winterboard to stop them from working and MAYBE stop your resprings.

@NewdestinyX This you made in all the themes you have no matter if you use or not?
What i am asking is that in your theme you are using you change it also without having any problem?

Well - you certainly lose the 'effect' the theme creator was trying to create with the info.plist, by disabling it. But usually the difference is very minor and most can't see it. For me - stability was more important. I also have NO idea why info.plists in Winterboard would have a destabilizing effect - though we experienced that in iOS5 and 6 too. Those issues were eventually solved - but there's something up here in iOS8 with them too. I have zero resprings at all using GL+/GB+ and info.plists OFF in my themes. When I use info.plists in my themes.. I get 1-2 resprings a day.

Sorry for my ignorance and has been a long time since I've used the GPS option on a widget. When I download WW2 should I get (besides MyLocation.txt) a widgetweather.xml file in Documents folder?

I get the txt file but not the xml file so that why I'm here asking!

Looking to check out GB/L+ and can't get weather to work/show

    Thanks again!

    Hey bro, how you been?

So, no xml file. Well let's start by checking that you have "Location Update" set to GPS. Then try pressing the "Update Location" bar and see if you can get your coordinates to pop in the Lat / Lon fields. Then check your location services and see if WW shows up in there.

    Been good! You?

Yea it's weird. I have GPS set as GPS; location services set to Always. If I Turn it off I get weatherwidget-1.xml file in Documents; turn it on It is removed.

Sometimes after turning WW on and off and hitting force it'll show. I'll remove the -1 on the xml files and as soon as I respring the file is gone.

I'm beginning to believe my phone is possessed ha ha ha

    I'm doing good too.

How about reboot, reinstall or running iCleaner Pro? Do you have the tweak "Forecast" installed? Try opening the weather app and allowing it to use your location.

I did all that and No no Forecast. What I did do was uninstall it and then removed WW .plist that was left over and reinstall. I think that did the trick, well at lease so far as I've rebooted and the xml is there and not being renamed.

    EDIT

If I turn off Writing Enable it removes the xml file; turn it back on it comes back. So is this option supposed to be left On?

Thanks again King! Last thing: Was it at one time in past we could turn that off (Writing Enable) or am I mistaken? Again it's been A LONG TIME and I'm not as young as I used too ha ha ha

We didn't have that feature in the previous version of WW. It's there mostly for testing. So you can flip that switch and stick an xml file in its place that someone gave you to see what's going on where they are.

Yahoo PlaceFinder is down at the moment. My widgets built on it are down too. iOS8 Weather.app uses YahooPlaceFinder to get cities.. as does WidgetWeather2. So we'll just have to wait til Yahoo clears the issue..

I have a question concerning my (4 day) weather updating timely but looking at my main.js the credits say:
"Widget Weather 2.0 - Base Widget Based on UniAW7 from Ian Nicoll & Dacal"

So not sure if I ask Here or in UniAW7 thread...

  28. #957
Which one was your mod started with. We built UniAW7 to be fully compatible with WW2, so there is some overlapping code.

Don't think I've ever had locationd crash. I'd guess hideme8 is most likely suspect.
