    EDIT:
    Haha, the penny just dropped!
    Left side =sunrise/sunset
    Right side = moonrise/moonset
    Thought left side = sunrise/moonrise right side =sunset/moonset to go with Sun & Moon.
    SORRY, my bad!

    Hi King and members who created this very nice update for widget weather.

    Its working great.
    Only i have with a old widgetweather theme a little problem.
    It shows me the wrong city.

    I use gps or fixed with the real location data (lat and long).
    Stil it goes to a city who is 35 km away from here.

    Something is differend from the first xml file.
    No exact location problem with that.

    Options ?

    Stil a great job guys.
    Good work

    Yes everyone needs to set the extra settings in your Config file of widget to city or extraLocCity and it will show right city it's actually showing your nearest weather station on default.

    So it seems that the way WW2 is reporting wind speed messes with legacy widgets. Is there any easy fix aside from not displaying wind speed?-imageuploadedbymodmyi1416745120.229309.jpg-imageuploadedbymodmyi1416745136.942163.jpg

    Few questions I have.
    Am I right in thinking that the gps is set to constant?
    And having the setting as fixed will use either the first long lat that you enter or the subsequent ones if you turn the switch on?
    Also what does having the raw.json to write actually do? Is it necessary?

    Thanks again

    Hi,

    Yes, GPS is the same as constant on WW1. If you choose Fixed, it uses the coodinates you have entered on the main page. Addtionnal location are always "fixed", of course.

    Last, don't need to activate the raw switch. It's the complete request we have from the feed .At the beginning, we worked directly with that file, but for compatibilty reason with WW1, we have parsed all the keys in the XML. So useless to ativate, but great to have this option to see if the feed change later.

    Well to bad it's only for iOS 8! I'm still weeping and need to be consoled. Anyway awesome tweak guys. Simply amazing!!

    Yes, there is a fix, and simple. Look in your JS and search for direction and windspeed in the updateweather function. replace the word 'data' on these lines :

    obj.windspeed = $('data').find('windspeed').text()*1;
    obj.direction = $('data').find('direction').text()*1;

    with :

    obj.windspeed = $('this').find('windspeed').text()*1;
    obj.direction = $('this').find('direction').text()*1;

    Thx Chevy and/or Simon too it was an error in the initial base of ww1, no consequence on ww1, but a problem in ww2 as we have a lot of direction and windspeed info.

    BTW, if you appreciate the tweak, please give a beer to Stephen. He deserves it... He has spend a lot of time on the update and, it's not the more easy, he supports the horrible beta team that we are... So much requests...

    Thx again SD.

    Dacal. I had the same problem. Did as you instructed. At first I was getting some info but was incomplete or not there. Now getting no xml file. How do I get WW to create one? I have rebooted, resprung, turned items off and on in WW settings.

    Thanks

    Delete all the XML and JSON files in documents folder, apply permission (again) with iFile (mobile/mobile, Read, Write, Execute for all). Reboot. Set in Extra settings, Enable writing to off then on again. Force Refresh to on, then off again. Wait 30 seconds. Respring.
