We, who know you long enough, know that we have to take that with a pinch of salt, but "inexperienced" readers take that as a full face value fact.
Remember, at the beginning of this year, you blamed cydget for crashing iOS 7 and blasted that "fact" all over the forum. Eventually, later, you actually admitted that it was not cydget's fault somewhere (thought that was very big of you!), but by then the damage was done. You successfully put everybody off cydget, with some help from other people's personal dislike (e.g. too slow).
When I hear of things like this, Ras, I'm reminded of the phenomenon where family members are often the last to 'let you grow' after you actually HAVE grown. You get comfortable with 'boxing' a person into the way you 'wish' to know them. My first two years here were very stormy. I really, royally, f***ed up my entry to this place. I was in a very hard place in my life - but no sob stories. My legacy here with NewD1.0 - was my fault - period. But you and Ian tend to stay in just a couple of threads and have chosen to not interact in other settings where you've been invited. In those other threads and other forum venues you'd have seen a huge change in this last year. The 'life situation' that kept me angry, defensive and arrogant - has released and I'm not that guy anymore. What I DO know.. I know.. And I've researched and when I make a strong statement (that reminds you of NewD1.0) -- it's from careful study of the facts. At 53 years old I'm not gonna completely rewire my communication style.. though I've made a lot of efforts that major helpers here now see as an integral part of the team here - enough so to invite to help in some design aspect of tweaks too. I'm grateful for their giving me a second and third chance. Especially King_O_Hill and Simon who are the most patient men I know.

So I'd ask you and Ian to 'give me a shot'. NewD2.0 is a VERY different presence on the forums. And I'd appreciate it if you would treat me with the respect, as a peer, that I have always treated you two. If you disagree with my assessments - please fire back with facts to take apart my conclusions. But I'm not going to go around saying 'my opinion' as a disclaimer to everything. I'm going to say - "here's what I've found" and concluded from what I've read.

If I may please correct your history, there,WhatDoIKnow.. I never said a word about Cydget early in the year.. except that it was the most most clunky LS player I'd every worked with and nowhere near as smooth as HTML had been in WB ios6 and prior. Saurik has only himself to blame for MMi's dislike of it. Tech heads often don't understand the need of an interface to be 'elegant' by the user. Cydget is far from elegant in its use. You can preach the benefits of Cycript all day long but if the lockscreen takes 3-5 seconds to open when in WB it was instantaneous - then people are going to leave it behind. I respect Jay - but he built something 'techie' - not user friendly. What I did chime in about in early 2014 was the WB bug that even Saurik himself confirmed. I was not wrong on that one and when people restored and put the new WB on their phones - their crashing pretty much went away. "WHAT" Saurik fixed was not central to the issue. "THAT" he fixed it (WB In combo with Cydget) is what my input was to forum members and more importantly how they could get stable.

But that's old news. Again - I ask... Ian and Ras.. please treat me with the same respect that I've always treated you and don't lambast me on open forum as you've done here. I don't feel it's warranted, now, and something I never do to others. Let me grow beyond the NewD1.0 past. First impressions are lasting. I get it. I own that period. But things are different now. I will 'measure' the weight of my words even more carefully when I'm in these threads with you.

    Moving on....

So, just to give some info, we are currently testing b19 internally. It fixes a lot of things, including running WW1 widgets almost perfectly! But we are looking at b20 to add some additional stability. If b20 goes as planned, I will be posting it for public testing.

Now I cannot get WW2.0 to show any data, the reason is it isn't even trying to get my location, it doesn't show up in Location services, it didn't ask permission to use Location services, no icon for gps on statusbar.
I re-installed it 3 times, still no go, it does hover make the .xml file and Brian, it IS formatted, the one we saw yesterday in the UniAW board must have been the user fault in the way he just copied the info.
Any idea's, maybe I missed something silly!
    XML file attached here.
    Location services are on.
Folder permissions are ok as it writes the file.
    Thanks.
I have the same Prob Ian, but Im scared to delete Cydia Substrate and all my Tweaks,

    Hi @ all,

I have a question, I am using the MyLocation tweak for now, with Jeepers SBHTML and thewaytozion LS slideshow GL on convergance. I set both themes to GPS= true; and Extra Location Neighborhood= true; too. Now my sbhtml and my gl theme gave me my correct Loaction, but the Temps are other, than my stock ios weather app gave me. My gl theme say city:"cologne" and temp:"5c" the sbhtml theme gave me the same info, but my stock ios weather app gave my city:"cologne", too. But the weather didnt match, sbhtml/gl themes temp: "5c" iphones stock weather app: "6c", ist that normal cause the ios stock weather app uses the weather channel as info source?

Probably. As newD said, gps widget usually use Yahoo and the weather app uses weather channel now. One degree off is not a lot.

Fyi, we are testing a b21. It seems OK ! And better than all the versions since b17 ! If all is good, i think King will put this version here later today.

    Have a nice day,

    @ KOH/Dacal,

    I was running b17.
    Uninstalled it through Cydia.
Also deleted the .xml file and WW preference plist file, re-boot, so like I never had WW.
    Installed b21 (from repo).
No xml file created, re-spring, re-boot = no xml file, go to WW2 settings, toggle "Writing Enabled", switch on "Force Refresh", wait 30 seconds, re-spring, no xml file.
Check Location services, no WidgetWeather, rebuild AppList via Pangu, still not in Location Services.
Now I'm back to square 1, can't get it working, maybe have to uninstall Cydia Substrates again.

Just thought you should know, I also thought better to remove old files (xml/plist) for true test!
No biggie, it's all part of beta testing.

    EDIT:
I uninstalled Cydia Substrates and am re-installing everything again but now realise I may have made a stupid mistake!
When I have everything installed again I will try the whole procedure again just to see if I did make this silly mistake. Later.

    Edit again:
Ok, so I thought I made a silly mistake but I didn't, I just did all again, but this time after flicking switches everywhere, a few re-springs and rebuilding AppList it showed up in the Location Services and then started working.

So it still has some installation issues to sort. When you test it you should remove everything as if you never installed it before.

And one more little thing, every time I go to Cydia it says there is an update for WidgetWeather (in Changes tab) but when you go to update it it just states re-install, if you re-install it and return to Cydia it says there is another update for it! Weird! LOL.

Widget Weather 2 beta - SBHTML ... (super-GPS ...every morning when I am traveling to work I can see exactly the street name with the house number - no - I do not mean when I am looking out of the window - I am following the information on the device ) )

weather dependend (and also day & night dependnend) walls at the top, timed walls at the bottom and some space for icons and weather information (fading in and fading out) in the middle of the screen

for German folks - weather infos are fully translated to German

    Hi thewaytozion,

Thanks for that bomb of sbhtml theme I am using your Slideshow LS atm, and modded it a lil bit
    -imageuploadedbymodmyi1417020473.088679.jpg

Is it possible to have the extra location=neighborhood feature to the Slideshow LS? That would be great, or can you update that LS that it supports WW 2.0, too?

I only have one prob, when I lock my i6, I have my stock iphone walloaper for about 3-5 seconds, and after that the WeatherWall Slideshow begins, can I fix that?

Not just your phone Ian, i still have some issue when i do a "fresh" installation. But it's better for me with b21 (no need to delete Cydia Substrate !), just some reboots and resprings (and playing with options ;o).
