Thread: SBHTML: SpringBoard HTML Wallpaper Platform

May be a tweak conflict cause on my i5 it works great but also could be a little but to do with 64bit but then again Simons running good

  2. #122
Maybe an option NOT to hide the dock? Because I know when you turn off the dock background in S3,then classic dock won't show. I'm not having that problem with this tweak. When it (the widget) does show, my classic dock is still there.

    I liked KingBoard myself.

    Maybe SpringKing!

    Ok, I'll settle for GroovyKingBoard!

Might help to list devices people seem to be struggling on to work out if there's a pattern? The tweak uses events linked to the dock as I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone while trying to get the dock background to hide so if there's a conflict there recommend just disabling any tweaks modifying the dock to see
Ok, think I may have figured something out. Was the way you described transitions kicking it in that made me think of it. Went to general/accessibiliety and turned reduce motion on. Then resprung. With that option on sbhtml doesnt kick in after a respring, even after opening and closing an app. Turn that reduce motion option off and it goes back to kicking in right away after opening and closing anything.

If it is just the parallax effect that bothers you then you can install disable parallax effect from cydia. Then you can leave that reduce motion option on and sbhtml should still work fine. If it's the way the icons zoom in and out when you open something that bothers you then I'm sure Groovy will look into this issue soon.

You mean "turn it off"? You leave reduce motion On.. Right, MJ?

I'm still having the issue MJ describes. Hardly works for me..

And a new bug today.. Sometimes when I come back from an app only the SB widget remains.. No icons.. Until after a respring..

    Anyone getting this?

I can't seem to get any of the iWidgets to convert to SBHTML style.
iWidgets that have options.plists won't work in SBHTML until all the variables in the options.plist are converted (or added back) to a/the config.js file. Then they'll work in SBHTML after you rename from Widget.html to Wallpaper.html.

^look back a few posts Grant. Few people having that same no icon issue. Seems to be related to springtomize 3. I don't use that tweak though so can't confirm personally.

Ah gotcha.. Hmm.. Thought I'd read every post.. Sorry. SP3 replaces 9 other tweaks for me.. So we gotta get SBHTML working well with SP3. Such a common tweak. I use it to create a 5icon Dock.. I wonder if that's the issue..

Could be. Groovy did say something regarding the dock and having other tweaks that mess with it maybe causing a conflict.

Did 5 icon Dock ever get updated to iOS 7?

Not sure. Haven't used that tweak myself for a while now. Looks like Saurik took it over but don't know if he updated it for iOS 7.

No, 5 icons dock doesn't work on my device, just tried an hour ago

    +1 for GroovyBoard

Jake, I would like to say thank you for doing what no one else has since Saurik removed HTML from WB.

    It's a great start.

There's still a lot of little bugs and inconsistencies that I am sure you will get worked out.

I look forward to the next build.

@GroovyCarrot: thanks for this awesome tweak that gives us some ioS6 functionality back.

    I have two issues:

    1. After each respring my widgets don't show up until I lock and unlock my device ?!
    2. Is it possible to bring Spotlight into the foreground ? Currently it's hidden by widgets:

No 1 is covered in Groovy's first post, known issue.
No 2 I haven't heard anyone else having this issue. My spotlight shows up in front of my widget:
