You can also ask questions in this thread, as a lot of the true masters of coding monitor it and are more than willing to help with any kind of widget.

Notepad++ is a good editor if your still in the 90's. Dreamweaver is good if you don't know how to code. Most web developers use Sublime. We do in the office on over 20 macs. Great for beginners and professionals.

Color text, auto complete, supports many languages, updated regularly and much more.

As far as safari, you are creating widgets for Apple OS, which their WebKit is safari only. I use chrome as well (great to view performance), but if you want 100% accuracy use safari or iOS simulator.

Sure thing. Where exactly do you want it on your SB? Maybe send me a pic so I can see your placement using the iWidget and then I can duplicate in the SBHTML theme.

When I said I wanted a quick respring, I meant a 'faster' respring time. There was one on the JB for ios6. It would respring in about half the time.

Html is the old springboard theme from older versions of ios.
You can have them both installed.
Sbhtml is used for all your springboard pages, behind the your iconsImageUploadedByModMyi1403260324.935268.jpg

    Thanks in advance
SBHTML is an app that allows you to 'theme' your springboard and save the whole setup for later.

When you add iWidgets to your springboard, you can place them anywhere you want and add as many as you want. However, you can't save that setup, or easily switch to a different setup. SBHTML gives you that ability.

There are apps available which allow you to build your springboard setup with whatever iWidgets and backgrounds you want and save it. You can then call upon that setup when you fancy a change.

The one I use is LBEvo, which allows the creation of lockscreens and springboard themes. They are then loaded with SBHTML.

    Hope this helps?

If you replace CCToggle's Respring Toggle w/ the Flipswitch Respring Toggle, you only have to tap the icon once! It's a lot faster/easier!

Great explanation, Neil! The only thing that you left out is that iWidgets are only pinned to one springboard page at a time. SBHTML SB widgets will be on every page at once.

The quick break down is this:

    SBHTML
    Displays on every page
    Displayed behind the icons
Does not allow any touch interaction
    Fixed location

    iWidget
Displays only on the page it is placed on
Displayed in front of the icons
    Allows touch interaction
Can be moved around on the screen

As you can see, they are very different.

sbhtml is the one, iwidgets are good aswell but i noticed if a widget was too close to an app it shows the nearest app when loading... sbhtml does not do it and it shows on all pages, although at times when installing apps, the apps hide behind the snhtml wallpaper but a respring sorts it out... I do stress to the creator of snhtml to sort the BUG

Same here (with the webview on top of icons), gets annoying sometimes. Is Jake looking into this at all?

Pretty much pushes whatever is created with LBEvo to the springboard. Besides icons, and a few elements pulled from obj-c. Mixed with the iconoclasm maker, its pretty sweet I must say.

Great for people who don't know how to code html or iconoclasm plist. Springboard above was created with no coding at all.

Also something else. LBEvo can run iWidgets. So you can add an iWidget to LBEvo then push it to springboard. This makes the iWidget show on every page instead of only one

He just graduated from university. And is taking a break for sanity's sake. (so he tells me…)

Tis indeed a fine tool. Nice piece of coding, June.
