    No it's groovylock. The problem is it used to blur the background. Now it doesn't.

    Hello everyone.i just need help with my lockscreen and i hope someone can help me add a string for my lockscreen.

    ImageUploadedByModMyi1408679470.823044.jpg

    As you can see im using jellylock7 with wordclock and date in my groovylock.

    What i want is to add a word "GLOBE" located just below the jellylock grabber.

    My idea is to make it look like a jellybean lockscreen that has its carrier name below the lockscreen grabber.just like the sample below.pls help me guys and i really appreciate it.

    Hey I did make it so that the developers can decide what to do when there is notifications showing, I think there just needs to be some adjustments to some existing themes

    You can use groovyAPI.getCarrierName(); in gAPI 1.0.5 from my repo

    I dont recall groovylock ever blurring the background. A few of the versions the whole widget would disappear leaving your stock wallpaper showing which iOS7 will blur itself when notifications are on screen. GC has allowed us to control what happens to the actual widget itself now when notifications are showing, just has to be added to the LS you are using.

    He gave you the element to grab right here:

    groovyAPI.getCarrierName();

    Check out WW3 for iOS 9/10 - Widget-Weather 3.0

    It blurs the background. Mine no longer does this. And they all used too. I unfortunately have no screenshots of this. I least I think so. Perhaps I was stoned and it just looked blurry. 😉

    Dimming isn't blurring.

    groovyAPI.getCarrierName();
    It's a JavaScript API library so you will need to use JavaScript to use that line, it should be as simple as setting the text inside an element:

    document.getElementById("myId").innerHTML = groovyAPI.getCarrierName();

    Hey as Al said, dimming isn't blurring and some people find the dim quite ugly, the new methods I made available allow developers to handle notifications their own way by moving elements, blurring, they could even perform their own dim but with tints/blurs combined.

    I'm considering adding a default dim and allowing the override as I can see this is distressing some people

    Dimming, blurring whatever we label it. I like it. It makes the notification legible which is what I like most about it. An option for it would be awesome. Thank you for your time.

    Ya, I suppose having a option to dim the screen by default would be good. Lockhtml and convergence have similar options. We can just turn it on or off depending if we are using our own method in the widget or not.

    Sorry I have been very busy lately with SetBack and NGUI, I've looked at the issue and I've not got much of an idea as to why it does it unfortunately. I can try and have another look but I don't see why any of the GL code would break it
