    FYI:

We are in the process of having WW output a txt file with the same info as the MyLocation app. That way there will be no reason to have both tweaks installed, WW will do it all!

BOOOOM!!! Mind - officially - BLOWN!

SUPERIOR idea, King/Durben!! Now that's what I call listening to the needs of the community.

    Thanks..

Is it intended to only contain the coordinates in the exact format that myLocation outputted? So, plug-and-play?

    @Grant

Yes, exactly. It will have a toggle switch in the settings app to allow the creation of the file if you need it.

    Great!

    Okay, D.. here's a concise question/report (I hope)

Can you get a clarification from Stephen, on the GPS Accuracy Filter switch - if he really means 'higher number (of kilometers)' for 'higher 'accuracy'?

Here's the pertinent part of his explanation from page 1 in question for me.

Gps Desired Accuracy - Refers to how accurate your location data should be. For example if you wish to see the exact street you're on you would set a high accuracy value for this parameter. If you only wish to see the approximate area (such as in which neighbourhood you're in) you'd set a lower accuracy value for this param.
When you think of pinpoint accuracy, narrower zoom-in of a location, and the scale is in kilometers (distance), it would be more logical to me that "1 meter" would be more pinpoint (accurate) than 1500 meters (wider zoom out, less accurate). And in my testing I seem to be getting MORE city changes (closer to my car's actual position) when GPS accuracy is set at 100m than when it's set at 1.5KM. I always leave Distance Filter at 50k, the default.

Thanks for checking and for the write up on Page 1 explaining those new switches,
    Grant

No worries I got it. Just didn't reply yet

    Have asked Stephen already.

    edit

High Accuaracy means lower (closer number to you)
Less accurate is the higher number.

Wonderful! Then that matches my experience. Can you update post 1 to make that clear, please? And there's a couple of words missing in that paragraph too.. 'would set'.. is missing from the 2nd or 3rd sentence.

Thanks, Durben, for checking for us!

Of course. Your call. Thanks for getting clarification for us, D.

    For what it's worth:
50m distance and 100m accuracy are the magic numbers for my needs.

Is there a way to adjust the settings without having to set up everything again. Just tap and hold or do I need to delete the current one first?

Not quite following you Blik.. What are you referring to? Do you mean an iWidget already on your screen?

Yes. To change options of an iWidget you have to delete from screen and start again.
