Default How to turn on 3g again
    Hi all,

I have a dilemma on my hand. My 3g internet is not working on my phone. I got my iphone about 2 years back and i never had a data plan since i got the phone. I managed to turn off the data using sbsetting(or big boss pref, i dont really remember). Last week, I just updated my firmware to 4.2 and got a data plan. However, i still can't use my 3g for some reason. does anyone know how to test whether my 3g is working or turn 3g back on?

    Thanks.

    There are a few possibilities:
    1. You only have Edge (2g)
    2. You need to clear/fix your apns in Settings -> General -> Network

2g doesn't seem to work either. Could you elaborate on number 2 please?

Settings / General / Reset / Reset Network Settings.

What carrier? In USA, 3G does not work with T-Mobile.
