    Default OpenSSH
Where is the location of the music files in an iPod touch? I'm using iPhone tunnel suite 3.0 for the SSH. Also is it possible to add music files through SSH?

yes, you can. The music files are located in /private/var/mobile/Media/iTunes_Control/Music/. This means you can copy them off the iPhone onto your computer with SSH. However, you can't add music to the folders from your computer because there's some binary file in the iPod app that says what music is where. The music also has weird filenames like 7DF5.m4a. there is no way to know what is what, unless you get all of them and add them to itunes.

PwnTunes. Install it and drop the music in the folder. Respring and it's all there.
