    Hello All, I am new to modmyi forums hope u all accept me as a new friend

    i was trying to install teknologic theme
    darren-coates's Gallery

    its a long complicated process but when i was doing last steps

    i accidentally deleted some system files ( .app files )

    so 90% of original & important iphone applications gone

    including ipod,mail,camera,cydia,calculator,notes,.......

    so could anyone plzzzzzz upload these files for me from his iphone and i'll be thankful

    * you can get these files through ssh your iphone
    in this directory
    ( /private/var/stash/Applications.xxx )

    *you can upload it through mediafire , rapidshare ,megaupload ,sendspace ...... etc

    Totally agree, even if you replace those files, I believe you may still have issues, but good luck.

    i want try first

    i think it will be easier

    also i'll lose all data if i do restore

    It's backed up in your iTunes library, you wont loose anything.

    and you will need to set permissions and you will encounter problems. Your so much better of with a restore. Plus people might have personal apps stored in the apps. And the file path you mentioned? That;s for appstore apps. The ones your talking about are in /Applications

    Can't you restore from a backup? Or has it been a while since you did a backup?

    I'll chime in with the heavy hitters. It's easier to restore. I have a feeling copying files will do mire harm than good.

    Agreed to all of the above. I guarantee you you will have problems even if you SSH those files back in. You should restore.

    For example, the app store--if you take out the icon for it and replace it with another (WITHOUT THEMING) this is a guarantred shut down. The app store will no longer work. Removing a part of or even the whole app will render it useless.

    This may not apply to some of the other apps you listed, but you should just restore and save yourself the hassle.
