Question [enquiry] Displaying incoming caller's company name
I really am a noob, I have a jail broken 3.01 iPhone and I can't find a way to display incoming caller's company name. I searched else where on the internet and found nothing.

When Mr Tan calls i won't have a clue which Mr Tan it is, as there are about 20 Mr Tans on my phone book.

    Appreciate any clues.. thanks!

Open contacts and edit each Mr Tan contact. There is a field for company name. Fill that in and when one of them calls the caller id should say "Mr Tan" on one line and the company name below that or vice versa. At least it does on mine.

Never mind, I just checked and mine doesn't do it either. It used to???

Thanks boozie, Perhaps you used to save company name under "Last Name"

I really hope someone can solve this >.<

When I list a contact that is related to a company I put the company name, first and last name in the "First" field where you would normally put just their first name. Example: If you have 2 Mr.Tans who work for separate companies I would put "Microsoft Mr. Tan" under the "First Name" field and leave the "Last" and "Company" fields blank. The Mr.Tan that works for Apple would be listed as "Apple Mr.Tan" and once again leave the "Last" and "Company" fields blank when you create your contact. You can go back and edit them in your contacts list instead of creating a new entry.
