Default Changing blue dot image for gps
Is there a way to replace the normal blue dot for your current location? I've searched and can't seem to find anyone who's done this.

I believe the image you want to alter is SmallCurrentLoc.png and located in /private/var/stash/Applications.W8DqJk/Maps.app

I tried replacing that image with a custom one and it didn't work. Funny thing is, the SmallCurrentLoc.png is actually an orangish color dot. Not blue like the one that shows up in the Maps.app

    Any other suggestions?

    I got it!

You actually need to change two files. One that displays the ball bouncing onto the map and the one that stays there. The one that stays there is TrackingDot.png and the one that bounces is TrackingDotBounce.png They are located in /System/Library/Frameworks/MapKit.framework. Make sure that colors match if your gonna change the color. Here is how it looks when I made it red instead of blue.
