Default Creating custom boot logos in 3.0?
Hey guys - I'm trying to install a custom boot logo onto my 2G iphone. I'm creating the .ipsw in Pwnage Tool (Mac) and it keeps giving me an error, telling me that my .PNG file isn't valid. It's the correct dimensions, smaller than 100k, and has an alpha channel. I'm using Pixelmator for the Mac to create my graphic.

Has anyone figured out how to make custom boot graphics for 3.0?

I found that I had to make the png a lot smaller than 100k. Also check to see that it still has an alpha channel. I had a few that would lose the alpha channel when I saved the file. Probably the best bet is to use Photoshop. Right click on the png file ccheck info and see if there is still an alpha channel.
