    Question Backing up Icon Placement??
There has been more than a few times I've had to put all my icons back in place after they got moved. For instance, whenever I go into "safe mode", for some reason it rearranges all the icons on my screen and I always have to put them back which takes more time than I care to put forth. If it only happened once in awhile, it wouldn't be so bad but there's also a lot of times I accidentally hit safe mode or I'd try different themes,,,,etc

I just wondered if there was something that could back up the way your iPhone theme and icons were set up(mainly icons), so you could restore it if you need to.

I use WindowsXP and have an iPhone 3 G. with 16 MB and firmware 2.2.... and it is jail broken but not unlocked and SSH is installed.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I have never heard of anything like that. Guess it would be cool.
But my question is, why are you putting your phone in safe mode? That seems a bit odd to me.

I use the Boss SBS settings to lock the phone real quick and it's right next to the safe mode button so I accidentally hit that every so often.

Perhaps try an app in cydia called "Quicklock". It will place an icon on your springboard that would avoid you having to use SBSettings for lockdown.
    Good luck.

There is probably a plist file in Springboard.app or somewhere that you might be able to use.

The order of the icons on SpringBoard is stored in /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.apple.springboard.plist under the key iconState.
