Thread: Change labels on springboard

    Default Change labels on springboard
I would like to change the label for Safari on my springboard. Anyone who knows how/where to do this?

For some applications it is made by simply changing the name of the applications, but not for Safari.

I would say, you should not change the labels of the app names. i.e. if you change SwirlyMMS.app to MMS.app your phone will not start anymore. it will hang on the Apple logo. so pay attention with changing names of apps. (good thing with swirly- if you are on the apple logo stuck, SSH to your phone and rename MMS.app back to SwirlyMMS.app. then it will boot again.)
