    Default Backup of Cydia apps
Hi, I have a 3GS jailbroke with redsnow on v3.0.1, question was that i have downloaed a few good apps from cydia, what is the best way to back these up onto vista desktop, so incase i have restore iphone then i dont have to go and find all the apps again.

last time i installed a lot of apps, and then rock extensions messed it up and i had to do a hard reset..

    Many Thanks

    PkgBackup works great

I second the motion for PkgBackup. All you have to do is run it, then sync your contacts to the computer right before you restore. It is definitely worth the 2.50 or whatever it was (plus a .25 fee for using paypal in my case).

Speaking of, thanks for the reminder. I don't think I ran it after I installed bosspaper.

Now if I could just find a way to back up all the settings for jailbreak apps. Oh well, I won't complain...It only takes a couple minutes to reconfigure them.

Sorry for the latre reply, and thanks for the app hint.

I originally jailbroke the iphone with purlerain, and installed some apps, one of which caused it to not respond. So this time i was looking for a way to back those apps up, I will test out PkgBackup, thanks again.
