    Update it.
Or is it that you have and the badge will not go away?
    Delete app then re-install it.

Just don't install it . However, what're probably really asking is: 'is there anyway to block the notification of an update' in Cydia. Currently, no. You could remove the repo that has the update, but that has unintended negative consequences. It's been on the wish-list for some time. . I have 2 that I just ignore

I asked the same question but no one seems to have an answer

Updating the app isn't the solution either, nor is reinstalling because the dev decided to put a $6 price tag on the update for a few bug fixes. No thanks.

You know what I have done in the past was to copy the current app and then go ahead with the update then copy the old version back on (If you have to pay before download then this wont work obviously). Or its easy to change the current version on some apps to a higher version so it won't see the update

yeah i don't plan on updating it at the moment so i have a badge staring at me all day. oh well.

Indeed. I haven't heard of this happening nor happen to me since back in the day, probably like 2.0 or so; I didn't think it was a problem anymore. I know back then if you just waited it out it would eventually go away.

Well I bought the update last night and it's like I said... $6 for bug fixes!!! There's no noticeable features from the previous version so I wouldn't recommend paying for it. At least I've got rid of the update badge.

@SB. Where/how did you change to version #?

    Sounds like the perfect fix
