    lol

I'm glad it's not just me then.

Just got my new 16gb model after selling my 8gb one as I was runnning low on space, and also my 8gb one had a few scratches and dings in the paintwork on the back and the mirrored edging on the sides.

Now when I go the toilet at work I tear off a few sheets of paper and lay them down like a little iphone blanket on top of the toilet roll dispenser so it doesn't get marked if i lay it down there while I wipe lol

I wonder how much more obsessive people can get about protecting their iphone baby!

I for one would dive in to rescue my phone if it went down the loo, empty bowl or not

:sigh: sorry to hear that. I've done it twice (thankfully not yet with my iPhone) with my previous phones and it's very shitty. from having done this twice already, i've learned that if you pull out the phone as fast as you can, lay it flat on the ground, take the battery out and have it air-dry (you can wipe your poo off now...) for a few days...then you have about 1% chance of it coming back alive and functioning again.

I accidently washed mine in the washer this weekend, seriously.

I dried it out for three or four days and then turned it on.

It worked, and all the moisture dried out the next day. It works perfectly and the only problem is that it got some scratches underneath the screen that will never go away.

    Its now for sale......

I've learned not to put my iPhone near any edges of counter tops around my crazy cats! About had a heart attack seeing the phone headed for the floor below. It was in slow motion.....N o o o o o o o o o o! But it survived no worse for the wear.....sigh...
