Sorry to hear. I just got back with a huge bill and a diagnosis of enlarged heart and fluid in the lungs for my 12 year old Shar-Pei. These breed only live to 8 1/2 so she's already way ahead, but it doesn't make it any better. She's coughing her way to the grave in a fast downward spiral of fevers and appetite loss.

I know exactly what you're feelin'.

I had to put my dog to sleep for a brain tumor almost 6 years ago. Sucks.

Thaks so much for all your thoughts. Im happy that I have my 5 cats or the house would be excruciatingly painful. This morning I noticed a few doggie toys laying around and it was upsetting. The cats like them so I left them.

Ive been through this several times before and it never gets any easier.

That's horrible. I'm so sorry . Not all dogs hate cats. We have 5 cats too and they all loved our Sierra-dog and she adored her cats.

Yeah not all dogs..I love dogs and cats..

    Here's what happen..
Ok out cat likes to sneak out she's a indoor cat but sometimes she gets out and she gets dirty/cat fights and fleas ect..well we decide to just make her like a kind of a out door cat till winter for a while..my lil Sis bought our cat a house for her to sleep in..it's a box like so only one way in and out..then one morning some gaurd dogs from the place were the store house and fix them got out of a hole they dig to sneak out..the dogs wonder around the place were we live and smelled our cat sleeping in the house box in the front yard and bit her and chewed her up..my dad chased the dog then the dogs drop our cat like 500ft from our house..my dad said the our cat "monica" looked at him and meowed took last breath of air and died in his arms..that was my dads long time cat before we came here in the USA..
