just to clarify BRICK = TOTALLY DEAD, unresponsive to any stimuli other than a hammer and/or drop off of a building. Best use for brick'd phone is to be used in construction of a house - hence the name BRICK. (AKA $600 paperweight, rock, useless, dead, toast, fried, etc).

Experience is the best teacher...keep pluggin away. If you have info to share, submit it to the site as a "troubleshooting" entry in the wiki. If others are interested, they can tack on more info and it will take off.

Some of the Wiki guides and the guides on the net still were using older softwares. Our guides have been updated...
