Thread: Some Help/Questions

    Default Some Help/Questions
I have a couple questions about Jailbreaking my iPhone. First, if it is already on AT&T will it be a problem, or does it need to be done before activating and then can't be done again after?
Is there a way to load stuff on to your iPhone without "fake" activating it?
I'm just generally confused about the whole process. My main interest is to put native apps on my phone and not do much else.
Also apple is now selling refurbished iPhones for $100 less. What do people think about buying those?
And last, what is springboard? I've looked for information on it but can't figure it out. Is it an app? or is it just another way of having an app run natively
    Sorry for the long post
    Thanks
    Miko
P.S. I did read through how to Jailbreak and add apps, I'm just confused

You will have to jailbreak first.

You can activate first, sure. Most of us have.

    Sure, REAL activate it.

A refurb is just as good, has the same warranty.

SpringBoard is Apple's name for the actual homescreen of your iPhone.
