Okay, I know there was a thread on this topic here at MMI someplace, but even after a lengthy search I could not find it. UGH, senelity sucks

Anyway, my thoughts on this matter kind of go like this:

With Apple deciding the best route to go is with Web apps, I am just curious about something and would like to get some feedback from those that really "know".

It occurs to me, that web apps would make the iPhone far more susceptible (possibly) to hacks, viruses, etc., then do native apps. I realize that native apps also have that potentiality, but it seems to me that the iPhone community that uses native apps, can and do somewhat act as a "check" of any "infiltration", where as web apps are perhaps much less "scrutinized".

Thoughts?
