Default What else does Apple know what and how you're using iPhone ?
So everytime you use stocks, Apple knows about it. Hackintosh reference.

So what other info Apple is collecting about you ? Why did they not tell us they were collecting this private info and habits about how/when you use your iPhone ?

I don't like this one bit.

if you can navigate to something like that, you will notice they keep track of your iPhones crashes, and apps that crash. I have NES and stuff in there.. so I am sure they know enough about what you are doing with your iphone.

Why worry? Remember that you agreed to let Apple do this in your End User Agreement (read the small print). There's not thing one you can do about it.

Its a privacy issue. Don't like anyone spying on me. May be some don't mind.
Yes, I may have (unknowingly) agreed to let apple do this via EUA but that doesn't make it right. Tying IMEI and browsing information is also different to cookies: when you access a web site anonymously and they store a cookie in your browser, this is not tied to any personal information. Moreover, you can delete the cookie in your computer or avoid them using your browser privacy options. The IMEI, however, is a solid unique personal identifier, which makes the whole thing a little bit disturbing. More importantly, there's no op-out.

come on trent, it was a joke i am sure.

as to my thoughts on the issue; i have nothing to hide, if they feel that spying on me will make them more money, then fine, i am happy to do so - I own apple shares.

    - please don't hurt me

This whole thing is moot anyways, its been proven to be a hoax. A German group used a port sniffer and discovered your IMEI and any personal information is not send to Apple. Read about it on www.iphonealley.com
