    Ya its gotta be tier 2 tech for them to do anything. You wont get anywhere in store so your best bet is to keep calling.

    make sure to rename it to ATT_US.ipcc. Hope it helps, I also called ATT to have them change my MMS settings. Been working since I first posted that, hasn't stopped since.

    anyone call recently and get it working?
    just read the entire thread and I guess I will call in a bit to see what I can do

    EDIT:
    just got off the phone...
    man was nice about it and slightly confused about what i was trying to do, but when i read him on what he needed to do, he put me on hold then said he CAN do it, but doesnt have the permission to do it :-/

    I recently called as well and was told that there was an internal email sent to all representatives. It stated that if anyone calls to have mms activated and says there a developer to send them to the iphone developer website. And if anyone else calls to tell them to wait till the software is officially released.

    UPDATE:
    If anyone personally knows any tier2 tech support people that will do this for me pm please. Called again and was told about that memo in my previous post.

    no they got that call about stop turning it on yada yada but if you just keep trying you'll get someone that will do it, the key is already being on a message plan that isn't the iphone message plan cause they wont let you switch it now.

    I called when they where closed and called the 1866 number I was right up front to the women about why I was calling I told her I was working on a mms app and I had no way to test it. She was very nice and hooked me right up mms all day non stop so far

    Oh and I called Easter Sunday

    What if you put your sim card in a phone that can do MMS and call and have then turn on all the stuff then switch sim card back to iphone? Will this work?

    So I talked to someone from Apple's two tier technical support today, and Joy couldn't assist me with any provisions. She has an iPhone and doesn't even have the new software either. She transferred me to apple who then referred me to the 3.0 Apple team. I didn't know there was a support team out there for that. I was thinking of calling them and saying I was developing an app for MMS and needed to make sure it would work with the new 3.0 and would like it provisioned on my phone.

    If anyone knows if they can provision please let me know before I waste my time calling them. Their numbr is 1-800-633-2152 if anyone needs it.
