    Default Qestion about AT&T contract
    hello there,

i have unlocked iphone 2g and i want to get the 3g one. anyway, if i bougth the 3g, should i cancel the contract before i can unlock it ?

if so, do they charge me for this ?

  2. #2
Don't know about the unlock but
pretty sure contract cancellation is in the $200 ballpark

  3. #3
can i cancel it without let them know?

  4. #4
No, because the only way to cancel the contract would be to let them know.

Tricky one. I heard that if you imagine it's cancelled, like really really imagined, then it's possible.

    ok thanks,
so the only way to use the 3g with t-mobile is to get it first then cancel the contract and pay the extra $200.

I am pretty sure that there is a fee charged to the credit card if you cancel before 30 days. Therefore, you need to wait 30 days, then cancel.
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream!

You cannot use the 3G with Tmobile unless you can find a sim adapter that actually stays working.
