Default New 3G Iphone and Corporate Email
This has got to be a joke, but they raise the data rate plans than on top of that if you want true corporate push type mail you have to pay even more.

"All iPhone 3G customers are required to have one of the new data plans and qualifying voice plan.
Customers intending to use the iPhone 3G for access to corporate e-mail, business applications, or access to corporate intranet are required to activate with Enterprise Data Plan for iPhone."

"$30 - Unlimited Data (E-mail/Web), includes Visual Voicemail

Enterprise Data Plan (must be added to qualified voice plan):
$45 Unlimited Data with personal and corporate e-mail, web, includes Visual Voicemail"

Even i have to admit this is BS, here is the link to the letter AT&T stores got:

AT&T has ALWAYS charged more for enterprise email. Why is this news? PDA & Blackberry BES plans are and have been $45 per user since long I could remember. Why would they make it cheaper for the iPhone?

Also not to mention Corporate users were already paying $45 a month just to even HAVE an iPhone under their account. This sounds more like a relief to me if I were a corporate user.

I had an iphone, than i bought an AT&T Tilt since that supported push mail, and i only paid $10 more originally, now it went up again. Perhaps I didnt realize it because of my coorporate discount but i doubt that.

There's a difference between having a corporate FAN discount & using it under a corporate account.

IRU = Customer's who have corporate discounts on their personal account

CRU = Custmer's who are under a corporate account. Ex. phones are purchased through your company.

Enterprise = An exchange server which your company uses. Not internet mail.

Enterprise has always been higher than normal MEdia net and PDA plans. Whether it be a Palm, Microsoft or Blackberry device.

I'm a bit thrown off by the date placement... I'm new as you can probably tell. My apologies.
