Thread: Does ATT know what you're viewing on WIFI?

Default Does ATT know what you're viewing on WIFI?
Do you think they'd know what you're viewing on wifi, such as MMI and such?

Worries me a bit b/c they would get pissed about unlocked iphones.

Also, did they stop sending the extremely detailed bills? My ATT bill doesn't seem to be 300 pages, which comforts me.

And even if they could, it doesn't matter. It's your device now, it was only bought from them. It's yours to do whatever you want with...

ATT no longer sends you a detailed bill, but it is still available online in its full detail.

    Food for thought:
All internet providers have the ability to snoop on what their customers are up to. I am not sure they would really bother to do so for any legal or moral reason, but it is not a difficult task.

On the other hand, unless your WiFi is also connected to a land based internet service from ATT, there is a remote chance they could spot your traffic even if it does cross their network at some point of your internet activity.

Nevertheless, I doubt either ATT or Apple are considering on a witch hunt to catch all those rogue devices that have infringed their legal terms.

There is no infringement on AT&T's legal terms, there's nothing illegal about modifying YOUR device that YOU paid for.

I guess it is possible since every network device has a unique mac address.

They made more than 200 dollars profit off of the iPhone you bought, they don't care what you do with it. Spam text "AT&T SUCKS" to everyone on earth, they don't care.
