Default Free Apple app brings more TV to iPhone
The MobiTV iPhone app is one free way to watch shows from Fox News, Comedy Central, NBC Sports and other programming—most of it recorded — on your phone. The free app, downloaded 1 million times from the Apple App Store, gives you live news from ABC News Now, and for $10 a month (or less) you get much more to watch, including live sports from ESPN Mobile.

The good things about it? It’s so convenient and cool to watch live MLB games on the go. World Cup, NHL and NBA finals were carried too. Plus, there’s no need to fiddle with your computer, as you do with other apps that stream video from your hard drive. A great selection of programs will please just about anyone, from kids to reality-show junkies. With the free app, you can try it to see if you like it.

On the other hand, loading time can be irritating buy autocad when switching from channel to channel, especially if you’re using a 3G network. (Wi-Fi makes video run a tad smoother too, but your battery life will suffer.) Some users complain of dropped connections or intolerable loading times and no way to get refunds. The response from MobiTV, a name that has been in cell phone videos for quite a while: “We’re working on it.”

The app is free for the limited version, cheap autocad $10 a month for a wider selection of programming, including more live TV. More info at
