    Default iGO Navi
Released to App Store...North America and others...
79.99 US Version..Screenshots look pretty appealing!
Anyone have any experience with iGO?

I found some videos, I believe this is it. It doesn't look like it pronounces street names :/

looks like the one..with the 3D buildings (Very Neat touch)

Also by the videos you linked..doesnt seem to announce things like "Turn ahead" when one comes close to the turn itself either

Has anyone used this yet? Wonder how it stacks up against NAVIGON?

I've had both iGo and Navigon installed on my GPS device and prefer Navigon. It just has a better interface, IMO.

I believe your correct. I picked up iGo today and so far I like Navigon much better. But I'm gonna give it a chance for a week or so and see.

Navigon is definitely the winner. I feel really bad for doing so but i hacked sygic, navigon, and this onto my phone to test. I just cant afford to make a 80 dollar mistake. Anyways i ended up liking navigon the best and bought that.

After using iGo for only one day I can tell also that I prefer Navigon at this point. Even having full signal bars GPS would drop out and took minutes for it to reconnect. Never had his with Navigon.
iGo has more settings options and a few more bells and whistles but not there yet. Tom Tom is suppose to be released soon for the iPhone, I'm sure I will try that one out also.
Should have saved my money. But I do want the best that is available. Live and learn.

I bought iGO today and cannot get the program to launch. When I click on the icon an iGO screen opens, but then I am kicked back out to my homescreen after a couple of seconds. I have emailed the developer, but have not heard from them yet. Does anyone have an ideas?

    Thanks.

try launching it in safe mode, if it launches then there is something conflicting with it. Use sbsettings to narrow down mobilesubstrate conflicts

Okay that did it - Thank you! Now, how do I figure out what is causing my issue. I do not know what you mean bu using SBSettings to "narrow down mobilesubstrate"? Would you please elaborate further?

    Thanks!!

in the more tab of sbstettings there is a mobiesubstrate tab. You can toggle off different services. That way you can see which one is messing with it.

Again - thank you. It was iRealSMS. I really like this program. I sent an email to their support department. Would you know a program that does that same thing that does not use the MobileSubstrate by chance?

Thanks again, I really appreciate the fast help.

it sucks to pay $80 for this and to find out you will lose one of your fav apps.
