Default A simple aux cable for my 3GS?
I've been hooking up my iPhone 3GS to my car with a cheapie auxiliary cable from Radio Shack, and it was working fine for a week and then mid way through my drive home from work one day, it just stopped.

I know its was a cheap cable, but death after week of really using it? That's quick! My drives are roughly half an hour and only on weekdays.

My phone still works with every headphone I've thrown at it, though.

So, I was just wondering if the untimely demise of my cheapie cable was a somewhat delayed compatibility issue or a "the-cable-was-crap-anyway" issue?

Do I have to buy a soooper special aux cable to get to work (and continue working) with my phone? I don't want to buy another one that will break right away.

you might of just gotten a dud cable.

because i actually use a standard radioshack aux cable for my 3GS and its been working fine for over a year.

dont waste your money on a pricey cable, it wont be worth ur money. It seems it was just your luck that it happened.

If you still have the receipt and packaging i would return it for an exchange.
