Nothing bugs me more than having 20 "prefs-type" apps on my Springboard. When the 1.1.2 jailbreak came out, I laughed out loud when that stupid little "lightswitch" app showed up, hogging space for just one function.

Everyone who has created an app that has preferences of any kind (and I'd especially love it if BossPrefs or NetServices would listen up), you really need to start putting your prefs into the iPhone's native Prefs app.

Take a page from MobileScrobbler's book:

I'd highly recommend you take a look through his source code and see how it's done. Absolute best user experience of any 3rd-party app I've ever part, because the prefs are exactly where they should be.
