    I have just seen the term baseband on other forums and wanted to know if that had anything to do with my issue.

    Ahhh. AT&T users don't need to worry about that.

    The baseband is the same as Setting / General / About / Modem Firmware.
    Some early versions can be unlocked to use on non-Apple authorized (non-AT&T) carriers.

    So I got the 1013 error. Went to tiny umbrella and clicked exit recovery. Now it keeps going back to recovery mode

    Error 1013:
    This means that the baseband did not get updated
    After iTunes reports this error:
    Put your iPhone in dfu and run fixrecovery43.exe http://www.mediafire.com/?se4e6hn29voih6g
    Run it with admin rights. Be patient it will take some time..

    No. Tiny Umbrella takes care of that.

    Did you try redownloading again? I updated the link twice.

    Did you let fixrecovery run and finish? It takes awhile to finish ...

    Did you use fixrecovery or fixrecovery43?
