You can't downgrade without SHSH and even if you did downgrade, your baseband would still not be unlockable.

If your baseband is already 05.14.03 as you said in your first post, then yeah, you might as well upgrade to 4.1 and wait for the next unlock. The next unlock for your phone will be out shortly after Apple releases 4.2

What error are you getting? Try restoring from DFU mode.

Using which firmware? Stock? Custom? What version? You need to give all the details you can think of.

Are you sure your baseband is 05.13.04 ?
You might as well hit restore in Itunes to take you back to 4.1 and jailbreak with Limera1n or GP RC3

Try restoring on another computer. Don't download the firmware, just hit 'restore' in iTunes.

As I said, try it on another computer. Also try using a different cable and different USB ports.

HOLD ON! I think there's a typo in the OP's original post. He does have an unlockable baseband as he's on 05.13.04

Don't download stock firmware from anywhere other than apple.

What exactly are you trying to do/what is the current status of your phone.

i downloaded from apple. then it stuck at 1/4 progress bar. my status of my phone cant boot. i cant use it

First off, don't restore to a stock 4.1 as your curent baseband can be unlocked.

I had a phone come to me in the same situation you are in now, did you reset all content? Do you have access to a MAC?

Create a 4.1 custom firmware in pwnagetool 4.1.2 with your phone plugged into the USB. After it has finished creating the firmware it will apply the exploit to your phone automatically (assuming it is actually in DFU mode already). Then simply start itunes and install the firmware you just created. Then unlock with ultrasnow.

If it errors out, please be specific with what errors you are experiencing. For example 1/4 progress bar of what? In itunes or on the iphone? What stage is itunes at in the restore and does it just hang or give an error too?

I borrewed a mac from my sister's friend last 2 days. now i dont have access to mac. i tried the idea of creating a custom firmware in pwnage tool. but same problem occured while restoring. the 1/4 progress bar im refferring to is when it says "Restoring Iphone" in iTunes and iphone. then when i tried restoring again. i get errors like 1604, 1614, 1603 when im in the stage of Preparing Iphone for restore.

When you were trying to restore were you using the dfu button in Pwnagetool on your phone first?

Did you try the advice above and you got the same problem when trying to upgrade to a stock 4.1?

Check your hosts file to see what's actually in there now!
