    Default Restoring iPhone 3g problem
    Hi guys,

I was trying to restore my iPhone 3g jailbroken settings to factory default as i was going to give it to my sister following my iPhone 4 purchase.

It told me it would take two hours, the bar passed across the screen and thought everything was ok. Problem is it now just freezes on the apple logo with the loading blobs. No movement, just frozen.

Every five mins it flashes as if it is restarting but it still hangs.

Has anyone got any idea how i can fix this? Hoping I haven't bricked it.

    Thanks

    Rob

You can downgrade to any of the 3.xx firmwares easily by downloading the firmware and then shift+restore (for pc) option+restore (for mac) and choose the firmware.

Or you can jailbreak and unlock 4.0.1 by following this guide.

Have they released the jailbreak in the app store yet?
